SunSeeds is a Naarm/Melbourne-based band formed in 2019, featuring members from Chile, Colombia, and so-called Australia. They are known for blending South American folk traditions with contemporary influences.
Their music weaves Afro-Peruvian, Afro-Colombian, and Andean rhythms with electronic and psychedelic elements to tell stories of resistance, love, and connection with nature. SunSeeds has performed at the National Multicultural Festival 2025 and supported Chilean producer Rodrigo Gallardo at a sold-out show to an audience of 400 people at Howler, Melbourne.
Their debut album SUR—set for release in September—reflects the band's experiences as immigrants and creators striving to maintain and share their culture in so-called Australia. With four tracks already released, this festival performance will form part of their East Coast tour promoting the album, as they continue to share their rich cultural story and passion for music with audiences across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
