Sistym

Sistym is a Melbourne-based artist known for her tightly executed blends, cheeky edits, and a love for razor-sharp vocal hooks layered over thunderous bass and intricate rhythms. Continually iterating on a long-time passion for deep, rolling drum & bass and UK-style dubstep, her graft has paid off — carving out a name for herself while sharing lineups with heavyweights such as Andy C, S.P.Y, Visages, Truth, and Alix Perez at festivals like Northern Bass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, and Locus Bali.

A key part of Melbourne’s bass music community, she is the founder of Midnight Request – a brand pushing the deeper, techier sounds of DNB and dubstep. Her events have hosted breakout acts such as Buunshin, Sustance, and Hypho, along with Pav4n of Foreign Beggars.

With a keen ear for production, her debut release Eyes Open / Fever Dream dropped on 8Ball Audio in 2024, following her selection for the 2023 Overview Music & Dynamics mentorship. With more collaborations and releases in the pipeline, Sistym is just getting started. More music loading…
