Mycology

Mycology is the long-awaited reunion of Darcy Davis and ZuluFlow - two brothers in rhythm whose roots dig deep into the underground bass and hip hop cultures of Australia. After more than a decade apart, we’ve been called to reconnect – not only by music, but by family, community, and spirit - to honour our late brother Tom “Wasabi” Jones with the same authentic, playful, heart-opening energy he embodied.

Our sound has always been about weaving worlds. Born from the fertile soil where psychedelic bass, spiritual hip hop, roots, reggae, and dancehall meet, Mycology is a living organism - complex, interconnected, and infused with life force. Darcy’s production is cymatic - moving bodies, animating senses, awakening chakras - while ZuluFlow’s lyricism cuts through with intricate, uplifting, and playful poignancy: opening hearts while making booties bounce.

Together, the live show becomes an ecstatic ritual: part cypher, part ceremony, part dancefloor eruption. Expect heavy basslines soaked in roots flavour, elite bars that spark body, brain, and ear-gasms, and drops that collapse into spirals of light.
